My final GDT card for Cupcake Craft Challenges...



Good morning fellow bloggers...today is my final card as a guest over at Cupcake Craft Challenges!! Thank you ladies for having me, it was a pleasure...

So this weeks challenge is "Best of British" and you can take your inspiration from the photo below..


For my card I have taken inspiration from the London part of the photo, the papers are Portobello Road - Papermania as are the the buttons and bow. I embossed the union jack and distressed it down so that some of the white core would show through...I layered each of the layers onto kraft. I cut the bunting using my MFT banners die and attached them to some heavy button twine and the flower has also been cut from a MFT flower trio die. The stamp is from the slapstick range at Penny Black called London and I just added some minimal colouring using copics.....finished with some doodling around the edges...hope you like.

Very cool card with the Best of British theme. Just the thing for the emboss / distress challenge.

Wow. When I saw the challenge over at cupcake, this was the image of a card in my head! You've totally smashed Best of British! Think the tourist board need u on their team! Lol. Awesome card. x
