Good morning Sugar Addicts and my scheduled post. Before I tell you about today's challenge over at The Sugar Bowl, I thought I would share my news...I was slimmer of the week last night aaaaand slimmer of the month...so chuffed with myself.
So this week's challenge over at The Sugar Bowl is Cathy's sketch below...
...and of course the optional extra is "out of the ordinary" which means do something that you haven't done before.
As always the prize is 4 sugar Nellie stamps from the wonderful Funky Kits..
..but if there's over 100 entries then 6 stamps to one lucky winner!!
Now this threw me a bit as I was a bit stumped on what to do, so eventually I thought I would use some of that Tim Holtz Distress Paint...now as I haven't used it before I wasn't quite sure what it was meant to look like, so I am not that happy with this card.
I have used Bo Bunny - Snowfall papers, the stamp is Rosie from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with DI's but not impressed with my colouring on this as I can do better!! I edged each of the layers with picket fence paint which is supposed to be a little snowy or frosty looking but not sure about that and added a couple of snowflakes which I also duffed up a bit with the paint.
Simon Says - anything goes
